This is a 13-week contract position.
Schedule
Rotating shifts: 3x12-hour Day (07:00 - 19:30) and Night (19:00 - 07:30) shifts are required, with potential floating to other units.
Job Description
The Registered Nurse will provide exceptional patient care in the Stepdown Unit, managing a variety of complex medical conditions. Candidates must be prepared to float to different units as required by operational needs.
Responsibilities
- Administer medications and therapies as prescribed.
- Monitor patient conditions and provide critical care when necessary.
- Coordinate with interdisciplinary teams for comprehensive patient management.
- Educate patients and families on care plans and treatment options.
Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure
- Minimum of 18 months combined permanent experience in a stepdown or progressive care specialty.
- Active Ohio RN license or compact state license required at time of submission.
- BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS certifications must be current and in hand.
