Schedule: 12-hour day shifts, 36 hours per week, with every other weekend and holiday rotation.

Required Qualifications: Valid license to submit; ACLS, BLS certifications, and NIH Stroke Scale (NIHSS); minimum of 2 years of relevant experience.

Preferred Qualifications: Experience with cardiac patient care and critical care environments.

Float: Float to ICU as helping hands, with floor-specific orientation involving two shifts with a preceptor.

Responsibilities include reading and interpreting EKG strips, titrating drips such as Cardizem, Nitro, Dopamine, Dobutamine, and Heparin, and managing ventilators including Bipap, Cpap, and High Flow devices.

Work environment involves a hospitalist or intensivist in-house 24/7, with available resources including RT, pharmacy, and in-house emergency and critical care equipment.

Additional notes: Unit manages complex cardiac and neurological cases, with a focus on teamwork and patient safety.

Certification requirements include ACLS, BLS, and NIHSS.

Must be willing to wait for license to submit.
