What You'll Bring
- Certification and licensure as a School Psychologist (or eligibility to obtain in Connecticut)
- Prior experience in school-based psychological services, ideally at the high school level
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Commitment to ethical, student-centered practice
- Ability to manage multiple responsibilities with professionalism and empathy
Key Responsibilities
- Support high school students and staff through expert psychological services
- Conduct up to 25 evaluations annually, ensuring thorough and accurate assessment
- Provide targeted counseling and crisis intervention as needed
- Collaborate with faculty, families, and community resources to foster educational achievement
- Contribute to IEP meetings and offer recommendations tailored to individual student needs
- Maintain detailed records and ensure compliance with state/federal guidelines
