Description
American Traveler is hiring a Home Health RN with recent geriatric care experience and HCHB EMR proficiency for a day-shift assignment.
Details
- Home Health setting serving a geriatric patient population
- Caseload of approximately 5-7 patients per day with a 30-point minimum weekly productivity requirement
- Day shift schedule, 5x8 hours, 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM
- No on-call requirement, though on-call rotation may be discussed during interview
- Territory covers up to a 60-mile radius from the hub office
- iPad provided for documentation, no cell phone provided
- Mileage reimbursed at the IRS standard rate
Requirements
- Active AK RN license required, must be in hand at time of submission
- BLS certification required
- Minimum 1 year of recent relevant Home Health experience required
- Proficiency in HCHB (Homecare Homebase) EMR required
- OASIS experience required for staff completing Start of Care (SOC)
- Active driver's license and personal transportation required
- First-time travelers will not be considered for this role
Additional Information
- Deliver in-home nursing care to a geriatric patient population
- Timely communication and documentation with the care team is mandatory
- Scrubs required in any color, no jeans permitted
- Monday orientation required, including completion of billable modules
- Hospice/Home Health checklist completion is mandatory
- Local candidates accepted at the travel rate
- Travel pairs accepted, though each traveler is assigned their own territory and must have individual transportation
- Former permanent employees must be separated for a minimum of 6 months and approved by HR before returning as a traveler
- Requested time off (RTO) must be submitted at the time of application
