Travel Respiratory Therapist

About This Role

This night shift position is for a NICU Respiratory Therapist who will provide critical care for infants, including transport to and from referral health systems. The role requires specific certifications and experience in a NICU setting.

Responsibilities

• Transport infants to and from referral health systems
• Perform evaluations, patient assessments, and diagnostic and therapeutic treatments
• Provide patient and family education and support
• Document care accurately, including EMR charting, medication charting, and incident reports
• Identify significant changes in patient condition and communicate findings to caregivers
• Clean, assemble, and perform preventative maintenance on respiratory equipment
• Process patient charges and verify reports as needed
• Provide high-quality critical care in accordance with organizational patient care guidelines

Requirements

• Respiratory Therapist license (North Dakota State Board of Respiratory Care or Minnesota Board of Medical Practice, if applicable)
• Current BLS certification from AHA
• Current ACLS certification from AHA
• Current PALS certification from AHA
• Current NRP certification
• Critical care infant transport experience

• Schedule: Nights, 3x12-hour shifts, 36 hours per week
• Start date: October 26, 2026
• Contract length: 13 weeks
