Job Title: Travel Registered Nurse (RN) Orthopedic, Operating Room/Circulate
Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Travel Registered Nurse (RN) with a specialization in Orthopedic, Operating Room/Circulate to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing compassionate and high-quality care to patients undergoing orthopedic surgical procedures. This position requires travel to various healthcare facilities, allowing you to experience different healthcare settings while expanding your clinical skills.
Responsibilities and Duties:
- Provide nursing care to patients before, during, and after orthopedic surgeries.
- Assist the surgical team in the operating room by circulating and ensuring a safe and sterile environment.
- Monitor patients' vital signs and response to treatment during procedures.
- Educate patients and their families about post-operative care and rehabilitation.
- Collaborate with the multidisciplinary team to develop individualized care plans.
Qualifications and Skills:
- Valid RN license in the state(s) of practice.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in orthopedic nursing, with operating room/circulate experience preferred.
- BLS and ACLS certification.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Ability to adapt to different healthcare settings and work well under pressure.
