Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Travel Registered Nurse (RN) who specializes in Emergency Room nursing to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing quality patient care in a fast-paced emergency room setting while traveling to different healthcare facilities across the United States.
Responsibilities and Duties:
- Assessing, triaging, and prioritizing patient care needs in the emergency room.
- Administering medications and treatments as prescribed by healthcare providers.
- Collaborating with interdisciplinary healthcare teams to develop and implement treatment plans.
- Monitoring and evaluating patient progress and updating medical records accordingly.
- Educating patients and their families on healthcare needs and treatment options.
- Adhering to hospital policies, procedures, and regulatory guidelines.
- Maintaining a safe, clean, and organized work environment.
Qualifications and Skills:
- Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state(s) of practice.
- BLS and ACLS certification.
- Minimum of 2 years of Emergency Room nursing experience.
- Strong clinical skills and critical thinking abilities.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to adapt to new environments and work independently.
- Flexibility to travel to different locations as needed.
