About the role
We are seeking a dedicated Travel Registered Nurse to join our Labor, Delivery, Recovery, and Postpartum team in Sweetwater, TX, near Houston. In this role, you will provide exceptional patient care across various maternity services, ensuring the safety, comfort, and well-being of mothers and newborns.
Key Responsibilities
- Assess, plan, and implement nursing care for obstetric patients in labor, delivery, recovery, and postpartum settings.
- Monitor fetal and maternal vital signs, and coordinate interventions as needed.
- Assist with childbirth procedures, including labor support and postpartum care.
- Educate patients and families on postpartum recovery, newborn care, and breastfeeding.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive patient care.
- Maintain accurate documentation and adhere to hospital policies and procedures.
