Job Description:
The MRI Technologist position requires performing CT, X-ray (including OR), and MRI. CT and X-ray are necessary to support Level II trauma, with limited MRI for heads and spines supporting neurosurgeons. There are no call expectations for this role.
Responsibilities:
- Perform CT scans.
- Conduct X-rays, including in the operating room.
- Perform MRIs as needed for heads and spines.
Requirements:
- CT and X-ray certifications required.
- Minimum 2 years of MRI experience if certified.
- BLS (AHA) certification.
- Driver's license required to confirm distance compliance.
- Compliance with fingernail policy prohibiting artificial nails in patient care areas.
