Responsibilities
- Aids physicians in diagnosis and treatment of heart, lung, and blood vessel disorders by conducting invasive and non-invasive diagnostic tests of cardiovascular and pulmonary systems
- Operates x-ray and physiological equipment following safety and quality standards
- Assists with diagnostic and therapeutic procedures
- Maintains equipment and records test results
- Monitors patient status during imaging procedures and ensures comfort; communicates results and concerns per protocol
Requirements
- Relevant radiology experience in a hospital or clinical setting
- Ability to perform invasive and non-invasive cardiovascular and pulmonary diagnostic tests
- Proficiency in operating x-ray and physiological equipment; adherence to safety standards
- Accurate documentation and record-keeping skills
- Ability to work in a hospital setting with rotating shifts in Saint Helena, CA
