About the role
We are seeking a skilled Radiologic Technologist to perform advanced imaging procedures using radiographic equipment, ensuring high-quality images for accurate diagnosis and treatment. Key Responsibilities Include
- Preparing and operating radiologic equipment to produce diagnostic images per physician orders
- Educating patients about imaging procedures and addressing their questions
- Maintaining equipment, troubleshooting issues, and ensuring proper functionality
- Evaluating image quality, presenting findings to healthcare teams, and documenting procedures accurately
- Following safety protocols, including infection control and radiation safety
- Collaborating with healthcare personnel to deliver effective diagnostic results
Qualifications And Skills Required
- At least one year of radiologic technologist experience
- Current Radiologic Technologist/Radiography license in accordance with state regulations
- Current BLS Certification (AHA/ARC)
- Strong critical thinking, interpersonal, and communication skills
- Proficiency in reading, writing, and PC use
- Physical ability to move and handle equipment weighing 50-100 lbs, and perform necessary movements
- Ability to work effectively with diverse teams and manage stress under pressure
- Visual acuity and effective communication skills
Ideal candidates may hold: ARRT Certification and other relevant licenses or certifications.
