About the role
We are seeking a dedicated Travel Nurse RN to join our team in the Post-Anesthesia Care Unit (PACU) / Pre-Post Op.
This position offers competitive weekly pay.
As a PACU RN, you will be responsible for providing exceptional post-operative and pre-operative care to patients recovering from anesthesia and surgery.
- Assess patient conditions, monitor vital signs, and manage pain effectively.
- Collaborate with surgical teams to ensure smooth patient transitions and optimal recovery outcomes.
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed, maintaining safety and compliance standards.
- Educate patients and families on post-op care instructions and recovery processes.
- Maintain accurate documentation of patient care and progress.
- Respond promptly to patient needs and emergency situations, demonstrating strong critical thinking skills.
