Requirements
- Active Washington State or Compact RN license
- BLS
- NRP
- Fetal Heart Monitoring (FHM) certification
- Must follow Confluence Health policies and Washington Nurse Practice Act standards
Position Overview
Seeking an experienced RN to provide high-quality, patient-centered care utilizing the nursing process and unit-specific standards.
Primary responsibilities include:
- Assessing and reassessing patient condition
- Developing and updating individualized plans of care
- Medication administration
- Nursing procedures and treatments
- Patient and family education
- Discharge planning
- Accurate EMR documentation
- Delegating appropriate tasks to support staff
- Coordinating care with the interdisciplinary team
- Responding appropriately to changes in patient condition
- Maintaining patient and staff safety
Float Expectations
Candidates must be flexible with staffing needs and may:
- Float to other areas in rotation
- Float as a sitter when required
Recruiter Notes
Strong fit for an RN with BLS, NRP, and fetal monitoring experience who is comfortable with a 3x12 day schedule and flexible floating expectations. The sitter float requirement should be discussed with the candidate before submission.
