Job Summary:
Labor and Delivery (L&D) Registered Nurse (RN) position available in a short-term acute care setting. The role involves providing specialized care to women during labor, delivery, and postpartum, with the possibility to float between units such as postpartum and high-risk antepartum. This assignment features 12-hour night shifts based on unit needs, with a focus on high-risk obstetrics, fetal monitoring, and delivery support.

Schedule: Night shifts, 12 hours per shift, minimum of 36 hours per week, starting 10/12/2026 through 01/11/2027.

Required Qualifications: 2 years of experience as a Labor and Delivery RN, current AWHONN Intermediate certification, BLS, and NRP certifications, valid and active license (compact license accepted). A minimum of 0 years of experience is required, with at least 1 year preferred.

Preferred Qualifications: Experience in high-risk obstetrics, ability to float between labor, mother-baby, and antepartum units, proficiency with Epic charting system.

Additional Information: Candidate must have reliable transportation, be flexible to float to various units within multiple facilities, and be available to work three out of five holidays. All candidates should be prepared for on-call requirements and potential overnight hotel accommodations during consecutive shifts. Flexibility with scheduled shifts and holiday coverage is essential.
