About the role
Travel Med Surg/Tele RN Role & Responsibilities: Deliver high-quality, patient-centered care in medical-surgical and telemetry units.
Assess patient conditions, monitor cardiac telemetry, administer medications, and collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to develop and implement care plans.
Explain procedures to patients, prepare for diagnostics, assist physicians, and ensure patient safety and comfort.
Document patient information, advocate for patient needs, and facilitate discharge planning.
Maintain infection control, adhere to safety protocols, and perform other duties within scope of practice.
Qualifications & Skills: One year of recent Med Surg/Tele RN experience, valid RN license, and current BLS certification. Preferred certifications include NIHSS and ACLS.
Require critical thinking, strong communication, physical ability to assist with equipment, and the capacity to work effectively under pressure.
Must possess visual acuity, motor skills, and interpersonal professionalism.
