Description
American Traveler is hiring an Interventional Radiology Technologist - Special Procedures with IR/neuro/CT training and thrombectomy device experience for a hospital-based role.
Details
- Interventional Radiology department setting
- 10-hour day shifts from 7:00 AM to 5:30 PM, 40 hours per week
- Every other weekend required
- Weekend and on-call coverage required
- Weekly orientation held every Monday (barring holidays)
Requirements
- Vocational or technical training in Radiologic Technology required
- Registration RT (ARRT) required
- MA Radiology License required if applicable
- Must be trained in neuro or CT along with IR
- GE/Siemens equipment knowledge required
- Scrub and circulator experience required
- Extensive thrombectomy device knowledge (PE/Stroke) preferred
- Experience with angio procedures such as TIPS and angioplasty preferred
Additional Information
- Perform interventional radiology procedures including angio, thrombectomy, TIPS, and angioplasty
- COVID vaccine plus booster and flu vaccine required, medical exemptions allowed
- Candidates must live outside a 50-mile radius of the facility, local candidates not accepted
- Previous Beth Israel Lahey Health employees (travel, perm, or per diem) must have a 6-month break before returning
- RTO requests must be presented at time of submission
- Parking may cost up to $43 per day
