Requirements:
- High school diploma or GED required
- Graduate of an accredited Surgical Technologist program (or equivalent U.S. military training)
- Minimum 2 years of Surgical Tech experience
- Minimum 1 year of CVOR scrubbing experience required
- Minimum 1 year of Cardiovascular (CV) Surgical Tech experience required
- BLS (AHA) certification required
- Colorado DORA license required
- Experience with sterile technique, instrumentation handling, specimen care, room turnover, supply restocking, and equipment care
- Clinical experience in an accredited hospital preferred
- Ability to work variable shifts, weekends, and participate in on-call as needed
- Cardiac experience must be included on resume/profile
Description:
Travel CVOR Surgical Tech opportunity at a regional hospital supporting a growing cardiovascular surgery program. The role involves scrubbing for complex cardiothoracic and vascular procedures, maintaining sterile technique, preparing surgical instruments and case carts, assisting surgeons during procedures, managing specimens, and ensuring efficient room turnover. Candidates must have strong CVOR experience and be comfortable working in a high-acuity surgical environment. On-call requirements will be discussed during the interview.
