Position Overview:
Navitas Healthcare, LLC is seeking a Travel Clinical Laboratory Scientist / Clinical Laboratory Technologist for an exciting Contract opportunity in Flushing, NY.
Responsibilities
- Perform routine and complex laboratory testing in accordance with established procedures and regulatory standards.
- Analyze, interpret, and report laboratory results accurately and efficiently.
- Operate, maintain, and troubleshoot laboratory instrumentation and equipment.
- Ensure compliance with quality assurance, quality control, and laboratory safety protocols.
- Maintain accurate patient records and laboratory documentation.
- Collaborate effectively with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to support quality patient care.
- Utilize laboratory information systems (LIS) and computerized laboratory applications.
- Adhere to all hospital, state, and federal regulations governing laboratory practice.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in Medical Technology, Clinical Laboratory Science, or a related scientific field required.
- Active New York State Clinical Laboratory Technologist License required.
- Strong computer literacy and experience utilizing laboratory information systems.
- Excellent communication, organizational, analytical, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and efficiently in a fast-paced clinical environment.
