Travel Agent

About This Role

This back-office role supports the operations team by managing travel logistics for staff attending major international sports events, festivals, and championships. It suits an organized and detail-oriented individual who enjoys solving complex travel puzzles and ensuring smooth arrangements for colleagues worldwide.

Responsibilities

• Book flights, train tickets, accommodations, and rental cars for event teams
• Support the management of event materials and clothing
• Prepare, send, and process contracts for event staff
• Handle operational requests and claims
• Support Operations Managers in organizing international projects
• Maintain relationships with local stakeholders, such as Airbnb hosts, hotels, and various suppliers
• Ensure operational information is correct and up-to-date

Requirements

• MBO or HBO education completed
• Fluent in spoken and written English and Dutch
• Available 32 to 40 hours per week
• Structured and accurate way of working
• Takes responsibility and works independently
• Enjoys working collaboratively in a team
• Experience with and affinity for booking platforms for flights and accommodations is a plus
• Experience in the events industry is a bonus, but not a requirement
