Transportation Manager

About This Role

This leadership role involves overseeing and expanding a transportation program that serves seniors, veterans, individuals with disabilities, and the wider community. Responsibilities

• Oversee daily transportation operations and scheduling
• Supervise drivers and transportation staff
• Ensure compliance with WYDOT, FTA, and safety regulations
• Coordinate fleet maintenance, inspections, and vehicle readiness
• Assist with budgeting, reporting, and grant compliance
• Support dispatch operations and route planning
• Promote transportation services and community outreach
• Maintain accurate operational and regulatory documentation
• Participate in strategic planning and program growth initiatives

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent required
• Valid driver’s license with acceptable driving record
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities
• Strong communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills
• Computer proficiency including Microsoft Office

Nice to have:

• Leadership or supervisory experience
• Transportation, logistics, fleet management, or public transit experience
• Working with seniors or community service programs
• Public transit or grant-funded program knowledge
• Customer service and public outreach experience
