Transportation Coordinator

About This Role

This fully on-site, hands-on role is for an experienced Transport Administrator to join a busy transport team, reporting to the Operations Manager. The position involves setting up customer accounts, managing daily driver paperwork, handling queries, and maintaining accurate transport documentation.

Responsibilities

• Set up new customer accounts and upload jobs to the transport management system
• Prepare daily driver paperwork and debrief drivers
• Handle calls and queries, and coordinate or reschedule deliveries
• Maintain proof-of-delivery records and accurate transport documentation
• Provide first-class customer service
• Produce operational reports and support the Department Manager
• Complete other transport administration duties as required

Requirements

• Hands-on experience in transport administration, logistics or a similar fast-paced operation
• Experience using transport software and Microsoft Office
• Strong organisation, communication and customer service skills
• Ability to manage competing priorities, meet deadlines and work to KPIs
• Excellent attention to detail and a proactive approach to problem-solving
• A flexible, positive attitude and the ability to work effectively within a team
• Existing working right to work in Ireland
