About This Role

Translating documents and communications between Mandarin and other languages is the core purpose of this full-time role, supporting the company's operations. The role suits a candidate fluent in Mandarin and English or Bahasa Malaysia, with a keen eye for detail.

Responsibilities

• Translate a wide range of documents, including correspondence, reports, presentations, and other business materials between Mandarin and other languages (English & Bahasa Malaysia)
• Review translated documents for accuracy, clarity, and consistency
• Assist with interpreting during meetings and other business interactions as needed
• Proactively identify areas for process improvement and make recommendations to enhance translation workflows
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure timely and effective translation services
• Stay up-to-date with industry terminology and best practices in translation

Requirements

• Degree or Diploma in Business Administration or associated course
• Fluency in Mandarin and English or at least one other language, with the ability to translate between them with a high degree of accuracy
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Excellent attention to detail and proofreading skills
• Experience using translation software and tools
• Ability to work to tight deadlines and manage multiple projects simultaneously
• Collaborative mindset and willingness to work closely with cross-functional teams
