As a Northwestern Mutual Financial Representative:

  1. Build—Call on, meet with, and evaluate the needs of personal and professional networks to build a client base. Begin to develop knowledge of NM financial products and market trends.

  2. Educate—Educate yourself through training, sponsored licensing and registration, and ongoing development delivered by your team. Use assistive software, reporting tools, and illustrations to educate clients on potential plans.

  3. Influence— Utilize the proven methods and advanced processes to present clients with the opportunity to protect and prosper, and serve clients best with expert influence and recommendations.

  4. Own—Take ownership of development and management of the business as you master your craft and build a team. Review and maintain client financial plans, continuing to provide optimum advice for your clients’ needs.
