About the role

Role: Registered Nurse (RN) in a Transitional Care Unit, providing direct patient care in a fast-paced, multidisciplinary environment.

Responsibilities include: Assessing, diagnosing, planning, implementing, and evaluating patient care; educating patients and families on managing illness, medications, and post-treatment needs; promoting patient safety and quality compliance; developing and communicating individualized care plans; evaluating physical, psychosocial, and emotional needs; and collaborating with healthcare professionals to ensure optimal patient outcomes.

Qualifications and Skills: Nursing diploma or associate's degree required; RN license mandatory; bachelor's degree and less than two years of experience preferred; strong critical thinking, assessment, and clinical decision-making skills; safety-sensitive position requiring alertness and safe work practices.
