This call is aimed at Costa Rican entrepreneurs in the musaceous sector (banana, plantain, abaca, guineo, among others), with the objective of supporting them with seed capital.
It also seeks to foster economic inclusion by formalizing emerging business initiatives, strengthening the livelihoods of individuals and their communities. Furthermore, it aims to increase the potential for mitigating greenhouse gas (GHG) emissions, improve resilience to climate change, and promote the conservation and sustainable use of biodiversity.
