About This Role
This role involves designing and delivering training programs to transform new hires into guest-ready team members and to improve service standards. The Training Manager is responsible for building learning and development initiatives across hospitality operations for X Live and Vicoli, ensuring all training directly contributes to enhanced guest satisfaction and operational performance.
Responsibilities
- Design and execute onboarding and induction programs that quickly bring new hires up to brand standards
- Create and deliver training across service standards, upselling, guest handling, hygiene, and safety protocols
- Conduct SOP and brand audits through floor walks, mystery audits, and action plans that address gaps identified in guest feedback
- Lead pre-opening training to prepare new outlets for successful launches
- Track training ROI by linking programs to assessments, audit results, and measurable improvements in guest satisfaction
Requirements
- 5-8 years of experience in hospitality or F&B, with at least 2-3 years specifically focused on training and development
- Strong knowledge of guest service standards, F&B operations, and hygiene compliance requirements
- Proven ability as a confident facilitator comfortable training both frontline team members and outlet managers
- Data-oriented approach that connects training activities to tangible business outcomes beyond simple attendance tracking
- Experience with new outlet launches and pre-opening training is highly preferred
- Expertise in Training Needs Analysis (TNA) and Training Delivery
- Proficiency in Learning Management Systems (LMS) and eLearning development
- Strong facilitation and presentation skills for both classroom and on-the-job training
