About the role
POSITION SUMMARY
The Trade Associate is responsible for supporting trade marketing initiatives and ensuring brand consistency across all sales channels. This role works closely with Sales and Marketing teams to plan and execute channel activities, manage joint promotions, and oversee production of promotional materials.
POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES
- Liaise with internal and external parties on joint promotion and material production to cater promotion needs
- Work closely with Sales & Marketing Teams on daily basis and oversee trade promotion alignments across channels
- Ensure Brand standards for channels are aligned (e.g. consistent use of brand key visuals).
- Develop Channel Activity Plan with effective utilization of resources and strike for the best return.
- Share market intelligence together with insights regularly with Sales & Marketing teams.
- Identify shopper insights and translate insights into business opportunities of specific channels.
- Provide market intelligence report, conduct sales analysis and promotion evaluation
- Regular field visit for campaign execution and market insight.
- Ad-Hoc task as requested.
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE
- Minimum Diploma or equivalent required
- Minimum 2 years of relevant experience in key account sales/ trade marketing experience/ retail sales management.
- More experienced candidate will be considered as Senior Trade Associate.
TECHNICAL SKILLS REQUIREMENTS
- Self-motivated and well-organized
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Attention to detail and good problem-solving skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Chinese Word Processing)
- Good command of written and spoken English, Cantonese and Mandarin
