- Trade Finance Operations Manager – Mumbai
Candidate Specification & Job Description Candidates must have 10-15 Years of experience in Trade finance operations.
Oversee end-to-end trade finance operations, including documentary collections, while ensuring timely and accurate transaction processing in line with SLA standards.
Lead and supervise the trade finance team by allocating work, monitoring performance, managing escalations, and supporting staff development through training.
Ensure compliance with international trade rules such as UCP 600, URC 522, ISP98, along with AML, KYC, sanctions screening, and regulatory requirements.
Identify, assess, and mitigate operational and financial risks to ensure secure and compliant trade finance processing.
Review trade documents for accuracy, completeness, and adherence to internal SOPs and quality standards before processing.
Monitor transaction queues, processing volumes, turnaround times, and implement improvements to enhance operational efficiency.
Serve as the key point of contact for clients, relationship managers, correspondent banks, and financial institutions to resolve trade-related issues.
Handle transaction discrepancies, customer queries, and exception approvals while maintaining high service quality and customer satisfaction.
Demonstrate strong expertise in trade finance products, including Letters of Credit, Bank Guarantees, and Documentary Collections.
Possess in-depth knowledge of SWIFT messaging (MT700, MT400 series, PACS.008, PACS.009) and international trade regulations to support seamless trade operations.
