Lexmark (a subsidiary of Xerox Corporation) is seeking an experienced Enterprise Tools Support Engineer to join our Global Infrastructure Operations team.

This is a hands-on operational support role responsible for maintaining the health, security and compliance of enterprise infrastructure across both on-premises and Azure cloud environments.

The primary focus of this position is the administration of ManageEngine Patch Manager Plus , ensuring enterprise-wide patch compliance across Windows and Linux servers. The successful candidate will also support our ScienceLogic monitoring platform and assist with day-to-day operational support of our enterprise infrastructure.

This role is ideal for someone with experience supporting large enterprise environments who enjoys troubleshooting complex infrastructure issues and driving operational excellence.

The successful candidate will have strong knowledge of Windows and Linux operating systems, enterprise monitoring, patch management and cloud infrastructure, with a customer-focused approach to operational support.

What You Will Be Doing Enterprise Patch Management (Primary Responsibility)

  • Administer ManageEngine Patch Manager Plus
  • Deploy operating system and application patches across enterprise environments
  • Perform patch testing, scheduling and deployment
  • Investigate patch failures and remediation activities
  • Produce compliance and audit reports
  • Work with infrastructure teams to maintain security compliance
  • Improve patch deployment processes and operational efficiency

Enterprise Monitoring

  • Support ScienceLogic monitoring platform
  • Configure monitoring policies and alerting
  • Investigate monitoring alerts
  • Perform root cause analysis
  • Improve monitoring coverage across infrastructure and cloud services
  • Support dashboards and reporting

Infrastructure Support

  • Support Windows Server and Linux environments
  • Troubleshoot server, operating system and infrastructure issues
  • Assist with Azure-hosted workloads
  • Support core infrastructure services including Active Directory, DNS and networking
  • Work with application and infrastructure teams to resolve production issues

Automation & Continuous Improvement

  • Develop simple automation where appropriate using PowerShell, Bash or Ansible
  • Improve operational processes
  • Assist with scripting repetitive administrative tasks
  • Contribute to operational documentation and knowledge sharing

Collaboration

  • Work closely with Infrastructure, Security and Cloud Engineering teams
  • Participate in incident response and problem management
  • Communicate effectively with technical and non-technical stakeholders
  • Support operational projects and service improvements

Essential MUST-HAVE QUALIFICATIONS, SKILLS, EXPERIENCE

  • 5+ years supporting enterprise IT infrastructure
  • Strong experience administering ManageEngine Patch Manager Plus
  • Experience supporting ScienceLogic monitoring platforms
  • Strong Windows Server administration
  • Good Linux administration experience
  • Experience troubleshooting enterprise server infrastructure
  • Experience working within Azure environments
  • Good understanding of networking fundamentals
  • Experience supporting Active Directory, DNS and DHCP
  • Excellent troubleshooting and analytical skills
  • Strong communication skills

Educational Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in computer science, information technology, or a related field (or equivalent experience).

  • 5–7 years supporting enterprise infrastructure, monitoring and patch management solutions.
