The Title Examiner plays a key role in the process of insuring property by searching public records and examining titles to determine the legal condition of property titles. This position is responsible for producing preliminary title reports, commitments, foreclosure reports, or non-policy information reports that show all appropriate liens, encumbrances, and how the title is vested.
