About This Role
This role is for a motivated and detail-oriented Tile Installer to join a dynamic installation team. You will be responsible for installing, repairing, and restoring various types of tile surfaces across residential, commercial, and industrial projects. Your expertise will help transform spaces with precision and craftsmanship, ensuring high-quality finishes that meet client specifications.
Responsibilities
- Measure and prepare surfaces for tile installation by assessing layouts and reading blueprints or schematics
- Cut, shape, and lay tiles using hand tools and power tools with accuracy and attention to detail
- Mix mortar, grout, and other adhesives to secure tiles firmly in place while maintaining clean joints
- Ensure proper surface preparation, including floor leveling, caulking, and water damage restoration if needed
- Install fixtures, trim carpentry elements, cabinets, or other related components as part of remodeling or renovation projects
- Maintain a clean work environment by cleaning tools, disposing of debris, and ensuring safety protocols are followed on-site
- Collaborate with project managers, carpenters, and other tradespeople to coordinate tasks efficiently and meet project deadlines
Requirements
- Proven experience in construction estimating, flooring installation, tile laying, or related trades within the construction industry
- Strong knowledge of blueprint reading, schematics interpretation, and schematic diagrams relevant to tile installation projects
- Proficiency with hand tools such as trowels, chisels, levels, saws, as well as power tools used in construction and restoration work
- Familiarity with water damage restoration techniques, floor care practices including buffing and finishing surfaces
- Experience in caulking, trim carpentry, fixture installation, concrete finishing, remodeling projects, and construction painting is highly desirable
- Ability to read schematics accurately and follow detailed instructions for complex installations
- Excellent problem-solving skills with a focus on quality craftsmanship and safety compliance on construction sites
