About This Role
This role is for an experienced, dependable tile installer to join a growing team, independently completing high-quality tile installations from start to finish. It suits someone who takes pride in their work.
Responsibilities
- Install floor and wall tile in residential and new construction projects
- Complete shower installations, including waterproofing and tile
- Float and build traditional mud shower pans
- Install curbless and ADA-compliant showers
- Perform accurate layouts, cuts, and detailed finish work
- Install large-format tile and maintain consistent grout joints
- Properly prep surfaces and identify potential installation issues
- Follow TCNA and industry-standard installation practices
- Maintain a clean and organized work area
- Communicate professionally with customers, builders, and the company
Requirements
- 5+ years of professional tile installation experience
- Experienced with both showers and floors
- Able to properly float a mud shower pan
- Strong knowledge of shower waterproofing systems
- Able to read layouts and take accurate measurements
- Able to work independently and complete jobs to a high standard
- Reliable transportation and a valid driver
- Must have your own basic tile installation tools
- Dependable, professional, and drug-free
Nice to have:
- Large-format tile experience
- Curbless/ADA showers experience
- Mud float shower pans experience
- Schluter, Laticrete, Hydro Ban, and other waterproofing systems experience
- New construction experience
- Custom showers and detailed tile work experience
