Tile Installer

About This Role

This role involves installing and repairing tile and stone surfaces within a casino and restaurant environment. The position suits a skilled tile installer who can work independently, understand blueprints, and maintain high standards of appearance and safety.

Responsibilities

• Report to work timely, in proper uniform and appearance, and maintain standards throughout the assigned shift
• Maintain and repair cosmetic aesthetics of casino and restaurants and upkeep of common areas
• Understand blueprints and execute verbal and written instructions as appropriate
• Maintain an orderly schedule of preventive maintenance in casino and restaurants
• Assist Marble Manager with layouts, upkeep, and repair of tile and stone surfaces
• Respond promptly to company needs
• Maintain a constant awareness of safety problems and report unsafe conditions and exposure to the shift supervisor
• Attend and successfully complete all internal training courses and requirements

Requirements

• High school diploma, GED, or trade school equivalent preferred
• Five years in tile installation and repair required
• Ability to communicate effectively verbally and in writing
• Be organized, flexible, and able to handle multiple priorities and deadline pressures
• Must be able to maintain high levels of confidence
