Position: TikTok Content Writer
Location: BTS Chidlom
Salary: Up to 45K
Working Day: Monday – Friday (9.00am – 18.00pm) Onsite 100%
JOB DESCRIPTION
Key Responsibilities
1. Content Ideation & Strategy
- Develop creative content ideas and concepts for TikTok that align with brand objectives and target audiences.
- Create engaging content formats tailored to different customer segments and campaign goals.
- Monitor TikTok trends, viral content, and social media movements, translating insights into brand-relevant content opportunities.
- Proactively propose new content approaches to drive brand awareness, engagement, and conversions.
2. Scriptwriting
- Write compelling scripts for TikTok content, including entertainment, educational, product-focused, and sales-driven videos.
- Structure content effectively using frameworks such as Hook → Insight/Problem → Storytelling → Product Benefit → Call-to-Action (CTA).
- Develop dialogue, voice-over scripts, and on-screen text that capture audience attention and communicate key messages clearly.
- Adapt tone of voice and writing style to suit different presenters, influencers, creators, and brand personalities.
- Craft scripts with specific objectives in mind, including engagement, product education, lead generation, and conversion.
3. Research & Audience Insights
- Conduct research on competitors, industry trends, and high-performing content within relevant categories.
- Analyze TikTok audience behavior, consumer interests, and emerging trends to identify content opportunities.
- Utilize content performance data and insights to continuously improve content topics, concepts, and scripts.
- Develop actionable audience insights that support content strategy and campaign planning.
4. Cross-functional Collaboration
- Brief presenters, creators, and influencers on content direction and script execution before production.
- Collaborate closely with Production, Videographers, and Editors to ensure content is delivered according to the intended concept and messaging.
- Review content outputs and provide creative feedback to maintain quality and brand consistency.
5. Performance Optimization
- Monitor and evaluate content performance metrics, including Views, Watch Time, Engagement Rate, CTR, and Conversion Rate.
- Identify successful content patterns, hooks, formats, and storytelling approaches.
- Continuously refine scripts and content strategy based on performance data, audience feedback, and platform trends.
Qualifications
Education & Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Journalism, Advertising, Mass Communication, or a related field.
- 1-3 years of experience in Content Writing, Copywriting, Scriptwriting, Creative Content, Social Media Management, or a related role.
- Experience creating content for TikTok, Instagram Reels, YouTube Shorts, or other short-form video platforms is highly preferred.
- Proven portfolio showcasing content writing and scriptwriting capabilities.
Skills & Knowledge
- Strong understanding of TikTok content trends, platform algorithms, and audience behavior.
- Excellent creative writing, storytelling, and copywriting skills.
- Ability to create strong hooks and compelling narratives that capture audience attention within the first few seconds.
- Understanding of content marketing principles and conversion-focused communication.
- Strong research and analytical skills with the ability to translate insights into content strategies.
- Ability to interpret content performance metrics and optimize scripts based on data-driven insights.
- Familiarity with branding, consumer behavior, and digital marketing concepts.
