Responsibilities
- Perform TIG welding on metal components according to specifications and drawings
- Read and interpret blueprints and work instructions
- Inspect finished welds for quality and accuracy
- Maintain a clean and organized work area
- Work closely with team members to ensure products meet customer requirements
- Follow all safety procedures and shop standards
Requirements
- Several years of TIG welding experience in a manufacturing or fabrication environment (for experienced welders)
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints and weld symbols (for experienced welders)
- Strong attention to detail and workmanship (for experienced welders)
- Experience working with tight tolerances (for experienced welders)
- Ability to produce high-quality cosmetic welds (for experienced welders)
- Basic TIG welding experience through school, training, or previous employment (for junior welders)
- Familiarity with welding equipment and welding fundamentals (for junior welders)
- Ability to read measuring tools and follow instructions (for junior welders)
- Strong desire to learn and develop welding skills (for junior welders)
