About This Role
This permanent, first-shift position is for a skilled TIG Welder to join a team, bringing expertise in working with diverse metals, constructing sheet metal components, and accurately interpreting technical fabrication blueprints.
Responsibilities
- Execute TIG welding tasks on stainless steel, aluminum, and galvanized materials
- Construct and shape various sheet metal items
- Configure and calibrate welding machinery to suit specific metal types and project needs
- Analyze and translate technical fabrication schematics and project documentation
- Adhere to both documented procedures and spoken directives
- Assist in warehouse operations by utilizing a forklift when necessary
- Ensure high-quality output and precision to help maintain production standards
Requirements
- Possession of a welding certification or a minimum of one year of professional welding experience
- Proficiency in analyzing and understanding complex fabrication blueprints and project plans
- Demonstrate a strong work ethic, focus, and reliability
- Capability to pass a comprehensive pre-employment screening process, including a welding assessment, math evaluation, physical exam, drug test, and lifting assessment
Nice to have:
- Prior background in TIG welding techniques and general sheet metal assembly
