Threat Intelligence Analyst

About This Role

This cybersecurity analyst role focuses on anticipating threats and turning information into actionable knowledge to strengthen detection, analysis, and response capabilities against cyber threats affecting the business. You will be part of a specialized security team, collaborating closely with operations, incident management, and crisis response areas to identify emerging risks and analyze threat landscape trends.

Responsibilities

• Monitor, analyze, and evaluate threats, malicious campaigns, and relevant vulnerabilities for the organization
• Generate actionable intelligence that contributes to the prevention and mitigation of cybersecurity risks
• Correlate security events, vulnerabilities, and asset exposure to identify potential impacts
• Prepare high-quality technical and executive reports adapted to different audiences
• Collaborate with security and operations teams in incident investigation and management
• Apply reference frameworks such as MITRE ATT&CK, Cyber Kill Chain, and other threat analysis models

Requirements

• Degree in Computer Engineering, Telecommunications, or similar in the IT field
• Cybersecurity certifications
• Prior experience in cyber threat analysis, threat intelligence, or similar areas
• Solid knowledge of cybersecurity, security operations, and incident management
• Proficiency in Threat Intelligence tools and information sharing platforms
• Knowledge of event correlation, vulnerabilities, and asset exposure
• Ability to interpret logs and security data sources
• Familiarity with threat frameworks (MITRE ATT&CK, Kill Chain, etc.)
• Analytical skills and critical thinking
• Excellent technical writing skills
• Ability to prioritize based on operational context
• Collaborative work with security, operations, and crisis teams
