About the role
Primary Therapist Role Overview: Join a multidisciplinary treatment team to provide comprehensive therapy services to adolescents recovering from eating disorders such as Anorexia Nervosa, Bulimia Nervosa, Binge Eating Disorder, or Exercise Addiction. Responsibilities include delivering individual, group, and family therapy, acting as a liaison with families and outpatient providers, managing insurance interactions, and participating in discharge and aftercare planning. The role involves therapeutic meal support, modeling healthy relationships with food, and ensuring safe, empathetic, affirming care tailored to each client's unique identity. Support for virtual care and telehealth may be required.
Qualifications & Skills
- Master’s degree in clinical counseling or related field
- State license or license-eligible in a counseling discipline (e.g., Psychologist, LMFT, LCSW, LPC)
- Experience with eating disorders and higher levels of care preferred
- Knowledge of diversity, equity, and inclusion practices
