Job Description JOB SUMMARY AbbVie Tumoohy Talent is an early career pathway designed for recent graduates.
The journey begins with a shadow and project for a 2-month period , during which participants will gain exposure to AbbVie through shadowing opportunities, structured learning, and a business project.
Following completion of the project, you will then progress into our rotational development program as a Therapeutics/ Aesthetics Associate ( or Business Associate ) .
As a Therapeutics/ Aesthetics Associate you will rotate across two, rotations across key business areas, such as Product Sales & Marketing; and Customer Excellence & Market Access . The two year-program, on a fixed-term contract is designed to accelerate your development and prepare you for a future leadership role in AbbVie’s commercial function.
As a Business Associate you will rotate across two, rotations across key business areas, such as Human Resources; and Finance & Supply . The two year-program, on a fixed-term contract is designed to accelerate your development and prepare you for a future leadership role in AbbVie’s support function. What does our program offer:

A Shadow and Capstone project, that gives you exposure to AbbVie’s business and culture, along with opportunities to shadow colleagues across relevant functions. This will support your onboarding and understanding of the pharmaceutical industry.

Key Duties And Responsibilities Rotational Assignments Work closely with team members to understand business processes, contribute to key projects (self-owned and directed), and develop practical expertise in each area.
Cross Functional Collaboration Work with colleagues across different function (e.g., medical, regulatory, finance) to deliver key business initiatives that improve outcomes for patients and customers. You will support project team and contribute to multidisciplinary initiatives.
Alter for AA to be different functions + to mission to help inspire confidence within Projects To Build Strategic And Analytical Skills Take ownership of assigned projects or workstreams, analyse market data and business challenges, propose creative solutions, and communicate insights to senior stakeholders to drive informed decision-making.
Develop a strong, broad understanding on the Pharmaceutical Sector Gain exposure to AbbVie’s products, business models, customer insights and market challenges. Done through hands-on learning.
Alter to Aesthetics portfolio Receive mentorship Benefit from one-on-one mentorship and coaching, participate in formal training workshops, join networking events and receive continuous feedback to accelerate your professional development.
Qualifications CAPABILITIES
- Understanding of the healthcare sector – Aesthetics sector.
- Analytical and strategic mindset.
- Strong English proficiency.
- Arabic proficiency.
- Foundational level of commercial acumen.
- Use of Microsoft.
Experiences No experience required however candidates can have at least 1 year experience in a similar industry.
EDUCATION A degree (Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration , Biomedical, Pharmacy, or Science or any relevant degree.)
Equivalent experience with a strong understanding/passion of/for the industry.

Other Requirements
- Full Right to Work in the UAE.
- Full Driving License by the start of the program.
- Flexibility regarding location, willing to relocate to Dubai if needed or no issues with commuting if residing in another Emirate.
