team! This full-time position is
Monday–Friday, 11 PM–7:30 AM
and includes additional shift differentials.

What You'll Do
As a
Therapeutic Support Specialist
on our
overnight shift
team, you will help ensure the smooth operation of our residential care facility during the night. While your focus will primarily be on
administrative tasks and facility preparation
, you’ll also provide essential support for residents. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Medication Administration: Administer morning medications to residents (training provided) and ensure proper documentation for continuity of care.
  • Client Wellness Checks: Conduct regular rounds to monitor residents while they sleep, ensuring their safety and well-being.
  • Administrative Duties: Complete nightly documentation, including billing, shift reports, and updates to resident records, to prepare for the daytime staff.
  • Facility Upkeep: Perform cleaning, safety checks on equipment, and maintain a tidy, organized environment.
  • Prepare for Day Staff: Coordinate handoffs with the daytime team, ensuring all information and preparations are in place for a seamless transition.

Qualifications
We are looking for passionate, dedicated individuals who meet the following
minimum qualifications
and can contribute to a supportive environment for our residents:

Minimum Requirements

  • Education: High school diploma or equivalent (no college degree required).
  • Heartsavers CPR Certification: Must obtain Heartsavers CPR certification within 90 days of hire and maintain it for continued employment.
  • Level 1 Medication Aide (LIMA) Licensure: Complete the licensure course and exam within the first 90 days of employment. Certification must remain current per the Missouri Department of Health & Senior Services (DHSS).
  • Driver’s License: Obtain a valid Class E Missouri or Kansas driver’s license. Must be comfortable and competent operating a 15-passenger van within 3 months of employment and obey all traffic laws while on duty.
  • Family Care Registry Clearance: Successfully clear the Family Care Registry background check.
  • Training: Complete all required training as outlined during orientation and by leadership within established timelines for continued employment.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Lived Experience: Personal lived experience with recovery from mental health or substance use disorders is valued in our setting.
  • Patient Care Experience: Preference for candidates with documented experience assisting patients with activities of daily living (e.g. home health or residential experience).
  • Mental Health Experience: Prior experience in a mental health care setting is highly valued.
