Southern Highlands Private Hospital is an acute medical and surgical hospital, owned and operated by Ramsay Health Care. A 73 bed private hospital co-located with Bowral and District Hospital, Southern Highlands Private Hospital provides an extensive range of onsite medical, surgical, rehabilitation, oncology and palliative care services for the community of the Southern Highlands and beyond to the regional and rural areas.

Job Description We have an exciting opportunity for a motivated individual to join our team as a Theatre Orderly on a casual basis. In this vital support role, you will help drive smooth, efficient hospital operations by providing safe patient transit, manual handling assistance for clinical staff, and maintaining clean, well-stocked environments to ensure exceptional patient care.

About You You will bring exceptional customer service, confident communication, and strong interpersonal skills, along with:

• Previous patient transfer experience (highly desirable)
• Ability to support nurses with patient handling and keeping wards clean
• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
• Flexibility to work across a 7-day rotating roster
• Strong teamwork and communication skills to collaborate effectively with clinical staff
• Attention to detail, and a commitment to safe, high-quality patient care
