Overview
We are seeking energetic and motivated individuals to join our team during the Pickup Shift at our location. This role offers a vibrant environment where you can showcase your customer service skills, operate POS systems efficiently, and contribute to a positive experience for every guest. Duties
- Greet customers warmly and assist them with their smoothie orders during the pickup shift
- Operate POS systems for retail sales transactions
- Handle cash, credit card payments, and process food handling with precision and integrity
- Prepare smoothies and food items following safety standards and company procedures
- Maintain cleanliness of the workspace, ensuring food safety and proper food handling practices are followed
- Manage retail math tasks such as cash handling, balancing registers, and reconciling sales at shift end
- Provide excellent customer service by addressing questions, offering product recommendations, and creating a welcoming atmosphere
Skills
- Experience with POS systems including Aloha POS and Micros POS
- Strong background in retail sales transactions, cashiering, and cash handling
- Previous food service or café experience, including food preparation and serving
- Knowledge of food safety standards and proper food handling procedures
- Excellent customer service skills with a friendly, energetic attitude
- Ability to manage time effectively in a busy environment while multitasking efficiently
- Basic math skills for cash management and retail transactions
- Barista experience or coffee industry knowledge is a plus but not required
