Test Engineer - Electronics for Broadcasting

About This Role

This role is for an electronics test engineer within a leading company in the broadcasting sector, focused on the design and production of electronic equipment for broadcasting. You will be responsible for testing and validating products, collaborating with the design team, and supporting implementation and certification.

Responsibilities

• Analyze functional specifications and define test cases and test plans
• Execute tests at the internal electronics laboratory
• Document test activities
• Review results in collaboration with the electronic design team
• Support the implementation of any modifications to the originally designed configuration
• Support the product validation and certification phase

Requirements

• Degree in engineering (electronics, telecommunications) or technical diploma
• Several years of experience in testing and maintaining broadcast transmitting equipment
• Excellent experience in using measurement instruments in Broadcasting/Telecom, such as:
• Spectrum analyzers
• Network analyzers
• Radio and television signal analyzers
• Signal generators and demodulators
• Ability to read and interpret electrical schematics for analog/digital electronic circuits
• Prior knowledge of broadcasting standards (DAB, DVB-T/T2, DVB-S2, ATSC, ISDB-T, etc.)
• Written and spoken English language proficiency
• Ability to work independently and in a team
• Analytical and problem-solving skills
