We are looking for a Test Engineer to join our Pittsburgh location.
Your Responsibilities You will lead and own the development, implementation, and execution of product testing, test processes, and test facilities. Responsibilities include: support design of test facilities, cost estimation, working with contractors, facility maintenance and upgrades.

Your Challenge
- Development of test plans, specifications, and procedures to support design requirements.
- Lead the design, implementation, and operation of test facilities.
- Train and provide technical direction to operations personnel in execution of test programs.
- Review and analyze test results.
- Prepare reports and proposals.
- Provide technical support for all aspects of the division's test facilities and programs.
- Work on cross-functional teams to identify and resolve issues.
- Participate as a project team member (development or production order).
- Understand the customer's requirements for testing the product.
- Interface effectively with internal customers (project team personnel).
- Work with and manage outside contractor support of test facilities.
What You Bring
- Minimum education is a Bachelor of Science Degree/Engineering.
- 5+ years of experience involved with design, testing, or operation of rotating electrical equipment and/or medium voltage drives.
- Working knowledge of instrumentation related to vibration, electrical, mechanical, and hydraulic measurements related to product testing.
- Experience managing outside contractors is preferred.
- Experience with test facility construction and commissioning is preferred.
- Ability to read and understand drawings and single line diagrams.
- Due to DoD requirements, candidates must be US citizens.
- Must be able to obtain and maintain DOD security clearance.
