Test Administrator

About This Role

This part-time Test Administrator position is responsible for providing secure exam delivery and superior customer service in a comfortable, friendly environment. The role involves performing on-time site opening and closing procedures, checking in examinees, and monitoring them during testing. It suits an individual who is flexible, customer-service oriented, and able to maintain a secure testing environment.

Responsibilities

• Perform on-time site opening and closing procedures
• Understand all testing procedures
• Check in examinees, verify identification, and explain the exam process
• Monitor examinees while testing
• Maintain a secure testing environment
• Communicate with internal technical support to investigate and fix technical issues
• Strictly adhere to company policies using careful judgment
• Maintain a professional and clean testing center with light housekeeping duties

Requirements

• One year plus of customer service experience preferred
• High school diploma or equivalent is required
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent business experience preferred
• Strong communication and customer service skills, delivered with focused attentiveness and moderate interaction
• Flexible in work hours and days
• Ability to complete all tasks in a timely and efficient manner, and handle a reasonable amount of stress
• Intermediate experience in Microsoft Office Suite, Windows applications, Internet, and email
• Ability to operate a computer, fax, and telephone
• Ability to lift 20 lbs on occasion
• Ability to stand for extended periods of time while escorting candidates back and forth, up to 50-100 times per scheduled shift, to and from the testing room
• Ability to sit for long periods of time
• Ability to bend, stoop, and lift from a stooped position
• Ability to work in a quiet, focused environment and hear spoken words in soft voices
• Ability to see names clearly on ID cards and the computer screen
• Ability to see small details at a distance

Important Details

• Schedule: 5 to 15 hours per week with an expectation to work more hours as needed; various shifts between 7 am to 6 pm Monday through Friday, and 7 am to 8 pm on Saturdays; flexible scheduling is required
