About This Role
This role is responsible for delivering the service promise to customers while selling and servicing profitable accounts. It involves managing sales growth, maintaining customer relationships, and ensuring efficient internal coordination to provide an excellent customer experience.
Responsibilities
- Hand deliver all quotes
- Responsible for annual sales growth (retain, grow, new)
- Service existing accounts through regular contact
- Make cold calls and service new and profitable accounts
- Be knowledgeable on products, services, machine limitations, and costing variables
- Follow up and communicate on customer specifications in regard to particular orders
- Process all required paperwork in a timely manner
- Provide information to Field Sales Manager for preparation of annual sales budget
- Coordinate entertainment activities to help build and maintain customer relationships
- Conduct business in a professional manner at all times to assure a positive company image
- Be active in the community to build business networks/contacts
- Work with team members internally to provide rapid response to all customer needs that delivers the Ultimate Corrugated Experience and promotes a positive company image to external customers
- Provide weekly pipeline updates to Director of Sales and Field Sales Managers
- Responsible for new item information accuracy
- Turn in accurate monthly expense reports
- Attend bi-weekly sales meetings
- Utilize sales resources for selling strategies
Requirements
- High functioning user of the Amtech operating system
- Ability to use Excel, VPS, and email communication
- Ability to communicate effectively both verbally and via email
- Proficient user of all forms for Customer Service, Design, and Estimating/Pricing
- Highly organized and utilizes effective time management

Important Details
- Physical Requirements: Sit and stand as needed; may require walking on a level surface for periods throughout the day; reaching above shoulders, below waist, and lifting as required to file documents or store materials; lifting up to 25 lbs
- Work Environment: Typical office setting; may require entry into a manufacturing environment that requires proper PPE including safety shoes, safety glasses, and hearing protection; manufacturing environment may be loud, hot/cold depending on season
