About the role
JCW is recruiting on behalf of a leading specialty property and casualty insurance organization seeking an experienced Workers’ Compensation Claims Adjuster to join their team on a temporary contract assignment.
This role provides the opportunity to manage complex Workers’ Compensation indemnity claims in Illinois. The ideal candidate will have a strong technical claims background, excellent negotiation skills, and the ability to independently manage claims from initial investigation through litigation and resolution.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage a caseload of complex Workers’ Compensation indemnity claims.
- Conduct thorough, timely investigations and assess relevant information to determine coverage and exposure.
- Review claim forms, policy documentation, endorsements, and other supporting documentation.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 5 years of Workers’ Compensation claims experience, including handling indemnity claims of varying complexity.
- Active Workers’ Compensation adjuster license(s) as required.
