Temp Respiratory Therapy Associate | Healthcare | 5-Month Contract
Looking to gain hands-on experience in a hospital's Respiratory Therapy department?
Join a healthcare team supporting respiratory therapists, managing critical respiratory equipment and ensuring ventilators are safe, clean and ready for use. This role is ideal for candidates with a healthcare or technical background who enjoy working in a clinical environment.
Position: Temp Respiratory Therapy Associate
Contract: 5 October 2026 – 5 March 2027
Working Hours: 42 hours/week, Monday to Friday
Location: Singapore
Salary: $12/hour
What You'll Do
Clean, disinfect and prepare ventilators and respiratory care equipment according to infection control standards
Conduct pre-use checks and maintain ready-to-use ventilator inventory
Provide technical support to Respiratory Therapists
Assist with equipment quality checks, troubleshooting and maintenance
Support procedures such as bronchoscopy preparation, bedside spirometry and EIT equipment setup
Assist in managing ICU ventilator fleets, including maintenance, repairs, recalls and service records
Maintain accurate equipment, inventory and audit documentation
Support departmental quality improvement and infection control initiatives
Assist with procurement, quotations and equipment-related administrative tasks
Train and guide new or temporary staff on equipment handling and infection control procedures
Support other operational and administrative duties as assigned
Requirements
Relevant healthcare, respiratory therapy, biomedical or technical qualification preferred
Healthcare or hospital experience will be an advantage
Comfortable working with medical/respiratory equipment
Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety
Good organisational and communication skills
Able to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team
Comfortable working in a clinical environment
