Teller

About This Role

This role is for a Branch Relationship Officer who will provide financial solutions to customers by offering bank products and services. The officer will serve existing and new customers in the branch, add new customers through referrals and visits, and process customer transactions and service requests. The role may also involve working as a teller for cash transactions.

Responsibilities

• Offer solutions and cross-sell the bank's retail banking and third-party products as per assigned budgets (e.g., life insurance, general insurance, mutual funds, loans)
• Achieve business budgets assigned by the organization on a consistent monthly basis
• Generate referrals and leads of new customers for the sale of bank products
• Promote bank products by taking part in marketing activities and customer visits outside the branch
• Contact existing customers for bringing in more deposits and cross-selling bank products
• Process customer transactions and requests in a timely and accurate manner
• Handle customer queries and provide correct solutions to ensure no customer complaints
• Follow all compliance guidelines (regulatory and legislative) for each activity released from time to time
• Ensure that all audit requirements of the bank are met for an optimum audit rating
• Complete all mandatory certifications required for the role (EUIN, SP Certification etc.)
• Complete all learning activities/trainings conducted by the bank from time to time
• Daily entry of interaction with customers in the bank's CRM system
• Participate in and follow all initiatives/campaigns/drives undertaken by the bank from time to time

Requirements

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to interact effectively with customers
• Familiarity with KYC (Know Your Customer), AML (Anti-Money Laundering), and other compliance requirements
• Ability to sell financial products and services
• High level of accuracy in handling cash transactions and financial documents
