About This Role
This full-time, on-site role involves making outbound calls to prospective and existing customers to introduce products, explain features, and generate interest in the company's chemical offerings. The Telemarketer will work closely with sales and customer service teams to help achieve revenue and growth targets while maintaining a professional and respectful phone presence.
Responsibilities
- Make outbound calls to prospective and existing customers to introduce products, explain features, and generate interest
- Qualify leads
- Schedule appointments for the sales team
- Maintain accurate call and customer records in the company’s systems
- Respond to basic customer inquiries
- Follow up on leads
- Support sales campaigns
Requirements
- Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to build rapport with diverse customers over the phone
- Effective communication skills, including clear verbal communication and active listening
- Customer service skills to handle inquiries, address concerns, and provide polite, solution-focused support
- Sales and appointment scheduling skills to qualify leads, set meetings, and support sales conversion efforts
- Basic computer literacy and experience using CRM or call-logging tools
- Ability to manage time effectively and meet calling and performance targets
- Prior telemarketing, inside sales, or customer contact center experience is an advantage
- Familiarity with industrial or chemical products is beneficial but not mandatory; willingness to learn is essential
